Uhm... Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and wish me good luck on my math test tomorrow!
God, I'm already tired as hell and it's not even 8.30 yet. Yeah, I'm gonna ACE this test. /sarcasm/ Ever since grade three I've hated math with a burning passion that refuses to let me get 100% on pretty much anything in that subject. What happened in grade three, you ask? Well, we were just learning how to do multiplication. We had gotten a sheet of questions to bring home for homework and, like the good girl I was (and still am, though some might disagree) I asked my mum for help when I didn't understand how to do one of the questions. Translate: I only payed half attention in class that day and had completel forgotten what multiplication even meant. So maybe this is partly my fault, but me being the closet over reactor I am got enraged at my inability to find the answer to 2 x 5. I ended up scribbling ovr the entire sheet with a very hard pressed pencil lead. Eventually, with my mum's help, I got the cursed thing finished, but I had to hand it in with faded black marks covering nealy the entire thing. Oh, and that's not all! At the end of the next day we were given even more homework, and Mrs. Neufeld said in front of the whole class, "Now, I'm going to give you some more practice homework, OK? And Alex? It's multiplication again, so don't scribble all over your sheet again, alright?" I was SO embarassed I almost started crying. I have been protective of my work and even my marks ever since. I won't let anyone see them. Maybe even after six years I'm still over reacting, but I've always hated having attention being called to myself, so when things like that happen it's even worse than praise.
Anyway, that's my story for now, and I'm going to say it again - wish me luck on my math test!!!
Quote of the Day:
Wadsworth: The game's up, Scarlet. There are no more bullets left in that gun.
Miss Scarlet: Oh, come on, you don't think I'm gonna fall for that old trick?
Wadsworth: It's not a trick. There was one shot at Mr. Boddy in the Study; two for the chandelier; two at the Lounge door and one for the singing telegram.
Miss Scarlet: That's not six.
Wadsworth: One plus two plus two plus one.
Miss Scarlet: Uh-uh! There was only one shot that got the chandelier. That's one plus two plus *one* plus one.
Wadsworth: Even if you were right, that would be one plus one plus two plus one, not one plus *two* plus one plus one.
Miss Scarlet: Okay, fine. One plus two plus one... Shut up!

Have you ever heard of the webcomic "Homestuck"?
If not, [link] I think you'd like it.

How many instances can you point out where I was less than kind?
How many happy endings do you need to change your fucking mind?
And how much time do we have left before it's midnight and
You see that I was never the right size?

:I
I find myself able to head bang to that.
Even though I'm giving myself whiplash.

It appears I'll be going to Calgary this weekend, and therefore will not have access to a computer.
My apologies, talk to you on Monday. ^^
